How to Find a Business Mailing Address
To find a business mailing address, start with official sources such as the company's website, business registries and directories, confirm the location where your contact actually works or receives mail, then standardize the address and check that it is deliverable. A postcard sent to a wrong address is wasted regardless of how good the design is.

Why the address matters
Direct mail has a real cost per piece, so an undeliverable address is a direct loss. It also wastes the personalization work around it. Address quality is one of the cheapest things to improve before a campaign and one of the most expensive to ignore.
Where to look
Start with the company's own website, usually a contact or locations page. Business registries and corporate filings list registered addresses. Directories and business listings often show operating locations. Your CRM may already hold an address from a previous interaction. Where sources disagree, prefer the most recent and the one closest to the company itself.
Head office versus where your contact works
A registered or head-office address is not always where the person you want to reach sits. Companies with several locations may have their decision-maker elsewhere, and registered addresses are sometimes a lawyer's office or a mail service. Where possible, confirm the site where the person works or where the company actually collects its mail.
Standardize the format
Keep each part of the address in its own column: street address, unit or suite, city, state or province, postal code and country. Use consistent capitalization and abbreviations, and don't combine several lines into one cell. Clean structure makes validation and personalization far more reliable.
Validate for deliverability
A well-formatted address can still be undeliverable, so check each one with an address validation step before printing. When you supply your own list to Yotru, addresses are checked for deliverability before mailing, and records with undeliverable addresses are typically flagged during validation. The decision about which accounts to keep stays with you.
