Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Yotru collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit our website, contact us, use Yotru, or receive a postcard from us or from one of our customers.

1. Information we collect

• Contact details you provide (for example name, email, phone, company).
• Messages you send us (for example via forms or email).
• Basic usage and device data (for example pages viewed, browser, approximate location).
• Postcard recipients: business name, the recipient’s name and role, and the business address. For postcards we create ourselves, sometimes the company’s logo or an image from its website.
• Scans and visits: when someone scans the code on a postcard or opens the page behind it, the time and the device and browser. We do not determine or store where the person was.

2. How we use information

• To respond to requests and provide customer support.
• To create, print and mail postcards, and to show the page behind each card.
• To measure whether a card was scanned and its page visited, and to follow up on that card.
• To operate and improve the website and services.
• To prevent abuse and keep the site secure.

3. Postcards we send and their recipients

Yotru sometimes sends a postcard to businesses we would like to work with, or finds recipients for a customer’s campaign. We take the recipient’s business name, name, role and business address, and the phone number and email address the company publishes, from public sources and business databases: mostly the company’s own website, and sometimes public business records, search results or Apollo.io.

We use this information to send the postcard, to see whether its code was scanned or its page visited, and possibly to follow up on that card. We share the address only with the printer and the postal service that deliver the card.

We keep this information for no more than 12 months after the card. Don’t want to hear from us again? Email team@yotru.com: we will not contact you again and will delete your information. You can also ask us what information we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted.

Received a postcard from a company that uses Yotru? That company is responsible for your information and we process it on its behalf. Contact that company, or email us and we will pass your request on and send you no further cards on its behalf through Yotru.

4. Publicly available business information and personalized marketing

Yotru provides personalized direct mail services. To create these campaigns, we may collect and process publicly available business information, including company names, business addresses, websites, logos, and images.

We may use automated tools and artificial intelligence to analyze business information and generate personalized postcard content.

Images and other creative materials are used only where we believe their use is authorized by the rights holder, permitted by an applicable licence, or otherwise lawful.

We do not put a photo on a card in which a single person can be recognised. A group photo, such as a team photo, may be used.

We respect intellectual property and privacy rights. If you believe that your image, business information, or other content has been used improperly, please contact team@yotru.com. We will review your request and, where appropriate, remove or restrict the material from future campaigns.

5. Sharing

We don’t sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us deliver the service, and only what they need: hosting and storage, AI models, the printer and postal service, address validation, analytics, payments and email. They process data under their own terms and policies, and we may also disclose information where the law requires it.

6. Cookies

We may use cookies or similar technologies to measure performance and improve the experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Postcard recipients and their scans and visits are kept for no more than 12 months after the card. If you object, we keep only the company name and address on a list of businesses we do not contact again.

8. Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, where it came from and who we shared it with, and you can have it corrected or deleted. You can object to direct marketing at any time, and we will stop. Email your request to team@yotru.com; we respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your information, you can complain to the privacy regulator in your country.
