Use Cases & Campaigns
How do I send personalized thank-you postcards to trade show contacts?
Export the contacts you collected at the show, write a short personal note for each group, and mail a postcard signed by the person they met. Yotru prints and mails it with a unique QR code, so you can see who comes back. The same approach works for contacts from a show months ago: the note just needs to name the event honestly and give them a reason to reconnect now.

The Yotru answer
Most booth follow-up is an email that lands next to dozens of others from the same show. A postcard with the contact's name, the event and a note from the rep they spoke to stands apart from that pile. You upload your badge scans or contact list, Yotru helps fill in any missing mailing addresses, and every card gets its own QR code linking to a page where they can book a follow-up.
How clients ask it
- How do I thank everyone we met at our booth?
- Can I still follow up with contacts from last year's show?
- What should a trade show thank-you postcard say?
How it works
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| Export your contacts | Badge scans, a lead-capture app export or a CRM list, as a CSV |
| Fill in missing addresses | Badge scans rarely include a mailing address. Yotru can source business addresses for you. |
| Write the note | One message per group, personalized with name, company and the event |
| Review and approve | You check the recipients and the copy before you pay |
| Print and mail | Usually 2 to 3 days after the order is final |
| Track responses | A unique QR code on each card shows who scanned |
A recent show vs a past show
For a show that just ended, mail as soon as your list is clean. Production takes about 2 to 3 days once the order is final, and delivery usually takes about a week, sometimes 2 to 3 weeks. A card ordered the week after the show will still arrive while the event is fresh.
For contacts from a show months ago, don't write as if it was yesterday. Name the event plainly, then give a current reason to talk: something new you've launched, a result from a similar customer, or the next edition of the show.
What to write
Keep it to three short parts: thanks for stopping by, one line about what you discussed, and one easy next step. For example: "Hi Priya, thanks for stopping by our booth at [event]. You mentioned [topic], so I put together a short page on how we handle it. Scan the code if it's useful." Then sign it from the rep.
How we look at it at Yotru
Every card carries a handwritten-style signature from a real person on your team. That makes the next call easier, because the contact already has a card from the person calling. Treat the postcard as the first step, then call or email shortly after it has had time to arrive.
